Instead I was firmly planted on the
tarmac… spending my days tossing
50 pound bags on never ending
conveyor belts.
Rain, cold, sun hotter than hades… I
braved it all… for a little over
minimum wage.
Back then… I didn’t wake-up excited.
Most mornings, I didn’t want to
wake-up at all. I felt like I was
trapped in an endless “time loop.”
Alarm goes off, I rush to catch the
bus, load & unload, go home,
shower, and fall asleep watching TV.
The next day, rinse & repeat.
